The members of the Government responsible for the areas of internal administration, justice and migration establish by ordinance the fees and other charges to be charged for administrative procedures, and a new ordinance has been approved.
Ordinance no. 307/2023, of October 13, approved a new table of fees and other charges due to administrative procedures inherent to the granting of visas at border posts, the extension of stay in national territory, the issuance of travel documents, the granting and renewal of residence permits and the practice of other acts related to the entry and stay of foreigners in national territory, provided for in Law No. 23/2007, of 4 July, as amended.
Among the residence permits identified in the previous paragraph, we highlight the new rates for permanent residence permits and for residence permits for investment activity.
As of October 29, 2023, the date from which the aforementioned ordinance will come into force, the following fees will be charged:
